The official website for the STARMYU anime began streaming a promotional video on Saturday for the show's third season. The video reveals that the third season will premiere on Tokyo MX on July 1 at 10:00 p.m. before airing later that evening on BS11, KBS Kyoto, and Sun TV.
The site is also streaming a "introduction promo video" for the third season.
The show's returning staff include director Shunsuke Tada, animation studio C-Station, series scriptwriter Sayaka Harada, character designer Asami Watanabe, and composer Ken Arai.

The anime will feature the first appearance of the new Kao Kai (Cherry Blossom Flower Association).
The first 12-episode STARMYU television anime series premiered in Japan in October 2015. Funimation streamed the series as it aired. A two-part original video anime (OVA) project then shipped in July and September 2016. The anime's second 12-episode anime season premiered in April 2017. Crunchyroll streamed the series as it aired. Most recently, the STARMYU in Halloween OVA shipped on Blu-ray Disc and DVD on October 24.
The anime has also inspired a series of stage musicals, the most recent of which ran in Japan in January and February.
