Aiko nangangamba sa buhay

Umaray na si Aiko Melendez dahil sa mensahe ng isang netizen (Gerald Samadan) matapos mapasama sa inilabas na listahan ng diumano’y narco-politicians ang boyfriend na si Jay Khonghun.

Inilabas ni Aiko ang message sa kanyang Facebook account na ang laman ay, “advance condolences sa pamilya, Aiko Melendez, hanap ka ulit ng iba.”

Tumatakbo ngayon bilang vice governor ng Zambales si Jay. Bago ang target na posisyon, nagsilbi siyang mayor ng Subic.

Para sa aktres, “…but this is foul already. My boyfriend is going through something that is hard. Being accused of something he hasn’t done. It is yet to be proven. But messages like this won’t help.

“We ask for privacy and ask for the people to understand that we chose to keep quiet. Not because he is guilty but because he will prove his innocence in the right time and in the proper forum.

“Ang hindi ko maintindihan sa iba why it is so easy for some people to rejoice on one’s misfortune? I honestly fear for our life. Because anybody can plant anything on us,” bahagi ng post ni Aiko.

Aminado si Aiko na great supporter siya ni President Digong Duterte lalo na ang anak niyang si Sarah, pati na ang war on drugs ng Pangulo.

“Kaya nga yearly nagpapa-drug test ako to be a role model. I am totally against drugs coz I have seen how my father’s life ruined,” dagdag pa niya.

“I stand by @jaykhonghun he isn’t what you think he is. He s just a man who declared to run for vice governor to serve Zambales but eto ang kapalit. 15 years of not being involved in any drug activity in Subic why only now? Great timing. Elections.”

Pero saad pa ni Aiko, hindi sila susuko para lumaban sa eleksyon at ipagpatuloy ang serbis­yo sa Zambales dahil sa pangsangkot kay Jay sa droga.

“We will not give up our cause of running and serving Zambales because of this setback, instead we will be stronger and get out much needed love and support from the People who believe in Jay. I will not leave him now that he needs me the most.

“Only because I know he would do the same if tables were turned around.”

Babalu nabuhay sa ‘Papa Pogi’

Nakakuha ng suporta si Teddy Corpuz mula kina Vhong Navarro, Ryan Bang at Karylle na kasamaha niya sa “It’s Showtime” sa premiere night ng launching movie niya as lead actor sa “Papa Pogi.”

Directorial debut rin ito ng stand up comedian/writer na si Alex Calleja at sa screening eh tawang-tawa ang audience sa comedy scenes hindi lang ni Teddy kundi ng iba pang cast gaya nina Donna Carriaga, Nonong Ballinan, Lassy Marquez at Joey Marquez.

Ayon nga sa aming editor, Dondon Sermino, na napanood din ang movie, parang nabuhay sa “Papa Pogi” ang mga comedy scene na pinakita noon ng mga komedyanteng sina Babalu at iba pa pero nakakatawa pa rin, huh!
Absent sa premiere si Vice Ganda na manok naman si Lassy sa larangan ng ko­medya.
