Magnitude-4 quake hits Davao Occidental; no damage expected

MANILA—A magnitude-4 earthquake shook Davao Occidental Saturday afternoon, according to the Phivolcs.

The tectonic tremor struck at 4:38 p.m. approximately 175 kilometers southeast of Jose Abad Santos town with a depth of 9 km.

The Phivolcs said damage to structure and aftershocks are not expected.
