Dear Dra Holmes:
My grandson Eman lives with us for the past 5 years. He just turned 6 years old. His parents, my son and his wife are both OFWs in Saudi.
It is nice having Eman living with us. His parents visit us once every 18 months. But lately we are having problems with him. I witnessed him putting his hands in his pants and leaving it there!! The first time I saw him doing this, I screamed and told him God would punish him. He immediately stopped and started crying. I was told that was not the correct reaction, but I was not thinking when it happened.
I am worried he will become a sex maniac like his mother. My son had to marry her because she was pregnant with Eman. At first we were not sure the child was his and told him to think twice before marrying her. He did not listen, but married her anyway. And it has come to this.
My grandson stops and takes his hand out of his pants when he sees me coming. But his yaya says he still does this when I am not around I do not know what to do anymore. Is there any foolproof way we can stop him from ding this? Thank you.
