MANILA – The Pasay government lifted its month-long ban on the sale and consumption of alcoholic beverages in the city effective Thursday.
The move aims to pad the sales of small businesses and help residents "deal with their anxieties", read an ordinance by the city council.
"Consumption of any kind of alcoholic drinks is allowed as long as it is done inside of the house and physical distancing is strictly observed," it said.
