The official website for the Granbelm original anime series revealed on Sunday that Uru (opening theme for The Legend of the Galactic Heroes: Die Neue These, ending themes for Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans, Natsume Yujin-cho the Movie: Ephemeral Bond) will perform the anime's ending theme song.
The series will premiere this summer. The anime will star:
Miyuri Shimabukuro as Mangetsu Kohinata
Atsumi Tanezaki as Shingetsu Ernesta Fukami
Masaharu Watanabe (Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World-, Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World- Memory Snow, Wakaba Girl) is directing the series at Nexus (Wakaba Girl, Chivalry of a Failed Knight). Jukki Hanada (Sound! Euphonium, Love Live! School idol project , Love Live! Sunshine!!) is overseeing the series scripts and Shinichirou Otsuka (Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World- light novel illustrator) is designing the original characters. Infinite is producing the anime.
The anime takes place in a world that long ago featured the existence of magic, but has long since lost that ability. The story begins when the very normal high school student Mangetsu Kohinata meets Shingetsu Ernesta Fukami, who has migrated back to Japan from Germany, on a night with a full moon.
